It is my joy to commend the ministry of Faro de Gracia to churches who are looking for mission efforts to support in Latin America. Under the leadership of Wayne Andersen, Faro de Gracia is committed to publishing and distributing solid, biblical materials in the Spanish language. By providing this kind of literature, pastors and church leaders can be encouraged to grow in their understanding of the Word of God. And if you help a pastor or leader, you have helped a whole church.
Faro de Gracia is a confessional ministry. Those who guide its work are unapologetically reformed in their commitments. I encourage you to take a closer look and prayerfully consider becoming a partner with this vital ministry in spreading God’s truth to the Spanish-speaking world.
With over 350 million Spanish-speakers in the world, there is a crying need for sound and substantial Christian literature for the edification of Spanish ministers, missionaries, elders, and congregants.
I heartily endorse this worthy kingdom work, and urge other Christians to work with them to “export the Reformation” – the glorious biblical truth of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
I’m grateful for the ministry of Publicaciones Faro de Gracia and the fine work they are doing to publish Spanish editions of so many important biblical and theological works. My prayer is that these books will have a wide distribution throughout the Spanish-speaking world. This is an important ministry, and I know it will be used by the Lord to bless many.
We are a people of One Book, the Word of God. And the study of that Word as well as the publication of theologically sound books for helping pastors discipline themselves in that Word is critical in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank God, then, for the ministry of Publicaciones Faro de Gracia. I have personally supported them with my prayers and gifts and trust that many will be able to help in this great ministry, which is helping in the vocational formation of pastors who, through their study and preaching, will then form others in the churches of Latin America.
I praise God for their vision and dedication to the Gospel and for their fidelity to producing Christ-honoring, Reformed and evangelical literature that meets our Lord’s requirement of “teaching whatsoever things I have commanded…”
I thank God for the translation work of Publicaciones Faro de Gracia. They have decided to publish good titles for the Christian and for the Church. I pray that their work will continue to be a blessing to Christians and Churches across Latin America and around the world.
Publicaciones Faro de Gracia is performing a most useful and needed function. They distribute over 1300 titles in Latin America that conform to our Westminster Confession of Faith and many of the works of some of our most read theologians, such as Dr. R. C. Sproul and myself, and even the Westminster Confession itself. I think it is a ministry that we in the PCA should get behind and support.
Our own ministry is being enhanced and multiplied in the Hispanic world through our relationship with PFG.
We commend for your support this worthy ministry, and trust that God may use it as a means of bringing reformation and revival to many pastors and congregations in the US and Latin America.
Unfortunately a dearth of solid, biblical literature exists in Spanish speaking communities all over the world. Thus Publicaciones Faro de Gracia, in their aim to reach our Hispanic friends for Christ and to undergird such believers with doctrinally sound materials, is to be commended for attempting to fill this strategic kingdom need.
I can enthusiastically recommend the ministry of Publicaciones Faro de Gracia. They are a fine organization overseen by a good local church. Their ministry of providing wonderful Reformed and evangelical literature to the Latin world has tremendous potential for good.
