Pastoral Bookshare Program
Indigenous pastors laboring in Latin America do not have the resources with which to purchase a “pastoral library.” PFG works with other reformed ministries and missionaries laboring in the Latin countries to distribute sound, reformed literature to indigenous pastors through the PFG BookShare program.
Through this program PFG has provided hundreds of pastors in the Latin countries with a set of 16 books, 10 titles on Christian doctrine and practice taken from the Puritan classics of church history, and 6 paperback commentaries on the epistles of the New Testament.
The total cost of providing the books for this program is $63.45 USD per pastor, plus shipping. The titles of the ten publications are:
- Caminando con Dios – J.C. Ryle (Practical Religion)
- Contentamiento Cristiano – Jeremiah Burroughs (Christian Contentment, a Rare Jewel)
- Gloria de Cristo – John Owen (Glory of Christ)
- Misterio de la Providencia – John Flavel (Mystery of Providence)
- Mortificación del Pecado – John Owen (Mortification of Sin)
- Rasgos Distintivos del Verdadero Cristiano – Gardiner Spring (Distinctive Traits of True Christian Character)
- Remedios Preciosos contra las Artimañas del Diablo – Thomas Brooks (Precious Remedies against Satan’s Devices)
- Sobre la Tentación – John Owen (On Temptation)
- Union con Cristo – A.N. Martin (Union with Christ)
- Vida por su Muerte – John Owen (Death of Death in the Death of Christ)
6 paperback commentaries on the NT epistles.
