This book has two undoubted merits, on the one hand, it is written in a simple and clear. Simplicity and clarity are the most important features Robert Sheehan style and this book is no exception. These two qualities-simplicity and clarity-are always important when treating any biblical theme. But still are, if anything, more important to deal with an issue as difficult as that of God’s sovereignty and man’s responsibility. Furthermore the author gets his simplicity is not at odds, as so often happens, with the depth of his teaching.
